Africa Needs Population Control Policy

First, the term “One Child Policy” might be frightening word for some Africans:” what I am going to have only one child”, who is going to bring the firewood, who is going to bring water, who is going to bring money for house, who is going to take care of the chickens and my two cows, who is going to take care of the farm? The African mind is based on family economy as the state does nothing for them, and the government does not provide infrastructure that will make needless the role of family members to bring them about. But in fact this kind of thinking only brings more poverty and disasters for these same African families. As primary solution, the government could create kind of companies that will do these for African families: companies to bring waters, fuelwood, … this until the right infrastructures are developed which take time.
One should be blind if he does not see overpopulation caused by high fertility rates as the source of all evils in Africa, from striking abject poverty, famine, wars, political instability, unemployment, crime, poor health and widespread diseases, poor education and illiteracy (which in turns lead to more overpopulation), environment and biodiversity destruction, and I can go on with ills. It is a viscous circle and the poor Africans, asking themselves: why all this wars, why all this troubles, why all these terrible things happen to us? But nobody answers them. Their leaders are looking for more power and more money, and if not they are sleeping, the capitalist are just looking for more profits from Africa. Nobody is caring for them. They live in the margins of life.

The African countries are pinning their hopes to the UN Millennium Development Goals. But I can assure you that these Goals will never materialize without child control policy. I find it just ridiculous why the UN is just turning a blind eye on a successful model that of One Child Policy of China and launching a model that has so far been so failure and will be definitely a failure. Testing things on Africa has always been the norm and the UN Millennium Development Goals are not an exception. In order to the UN Millennium Development Goals to be successful they need to direct all their financial help to African towards the Child Control Policy.

It is as simple as that, with fewer children, the government will have more shares of its exportation revenue per person and thus be able to provide better education, better health system, better housing, water supply, electricity, sanitation, internet (which is alone going enlighten people) and when people see these happening, they will recognize the benefit of One Child Policy, and will become themselves advocates.

But I think in the beginning Child Control Policy is going to find opposition from backward minded "leaders", backward religious "leaders" no matter whether they are Muslim or Christians. They say God does not like that, but does God like to see people suffering in abject poverty and brutal wars?
